CLIENT GUIDE
STYLING TIPS
If you need help with outfits please let me know! I would love to guide you! Outfits truly do matter
- Pre-panning outfits will be your bestfriend!!! Plan ahead so that you can truly enjoy the photos and everything you want out of your session.
- An hour before sunset known as "Golden Hour" is my favorite time to shoot. I always highly recommend this time slot if possible.
- Little ones - BRING FAVORITE SNACKS, DRINKS, & TOYS!! It'll make the session so much more happier if they're happy.
- Babies -Diapers sticking out. Avoid clothing that doesn't completely cover.
- Neutral, earthy colors are my personal favorite for photos. They always look beautiful no matter the background and they're timeless.
- Avoid clashing/ big logos/ matching/a lot of patterns and graphics. You want your outfits to compliment each other.
- Layering is one of my favorite ways to add a pop of color. Cardigan or jacket over a dress, add a scarf or throw on a belt. For the boys think blazers, hats, suspenders, etc. Textures are wonderful too. Think lace, ribbons, ruffles, crochet, and embroidery.
- Consider your home decor when choosing a color scheme and background location.
- Makeup - I always recommend getting your makeup professionally done
- Nails & Toes - I always encourage to either have your nails painted or clear. I do not recommend neon polish, neutral colors are the best for photography.
- If you're not sure what to wear/location vibe I always recommend looking on Pinterest.
- I always recommend props!! The more the better!!
EVERYONE TAKES PHOTOS WITH THEIR PHONES. HAVE SOMETHING SPECIAL.

As a mom and someone who has lost their dad and brother - photos and videos are truly everything. I know in the moment no one wants to take photos, but I promise you will be so grateful! I always recommend family photos at least once a year. Time goes by so fast
